Care Call

"Your well being is important to us."

The Care Call program is designed to help us ensure your well being. The focus of the program is the safety of our citizens. This program shows you that we do care about the citizens that we protect and serve. Often times in the case of emergencies persons have no one to contact. As a part of this program your safety and well being will be our top priority.

The Care Call program is open to residents of the Town of Winnsboro. Some examples of persons enrolled include senior citizens, handicapped, shut- ins, and stay at home persons. The Care Call program is designed to help us ensure your well being. As part of this program all we ask is that you make contact with our Department once a day or let us know if you will be away from home. We do ask that you provide us with a key in case of emergency. We also ask for three emergency contacts and a description of any vehicles that should be at your residence. There is no cost for the program.

Once you are accepted into the program we will provide you with the phone number and details of how the program works.

How to enroll

Complete a registration form and return to the Department coordinator along with a copy of the key to your residence. Assistance with the registration will be provided upon request. They will make arrangements to have someone meet with you and explain the program. This key will be kept in a lock box at our Department. This key will be used only in the event of an emergency.

If you or someone you know is interested have them contact Sgt. Angie Ingram or Major William Gonzalez at 803-635-4098.
